A Word from our Chancellor
In
this decade and beyond, Spirit-filled believers face one of the
greatest challenges ever presented to the Church of Jesus Christ.
To reach this end-time generation, we are going to need more
than words. We are
going to need the power of the Holy Spirit!
As Paul shared in I Corinthians 2:4,5
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s
wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That
your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power
of God.” KJV
This end-time generation has grown tired of the persuasive words of
man’s wisdom. They
hunger to see the power of God in operation in the lives of His
people.
Church as usual and theological education as usual will not make an
impact in today’s world.
Aspirants of true Holy Spirit empowered ministry must be trained,
not in dead traditional theology that was built upon man’s wisdom,
but in a “living” theology that is wrought by the energizing
presence of the Spirit of God.
Biblical Life College and Seminary
represents the future of Spirit-Filled theological education.
No more will an aspirant of ministry be separated from God’s
people and the ministry field to sit in a classroom, where many
times he loses his vision and passion for ministry.
Rather through a dedicated life in the local Church, with
solid theological training through BLCS and loving mentorship
locally, he will become the man of God for this hour for those God
has called him to minister to.
At
BLCS, we have developed an external educational system that is “State
of the Art”
for those called to a Spirit-Filled ministry.
We have striven to provide the very best in solid academics
for those called to ministry.
But this is only half of the training.
Many stop right there.
The other half of the training is provided with a
“Spiritual Boot Camp”
approach. That is “real
down to earth” training for “where the rubber meet the road” in
daily Christian life and ministry.
BLCS graduates will not only know how to properly research
and interpret the Word of God,
but they will know how to minister God’s Word with power in “the
real world.”
